Bảo tàng này là nơi trưng bày và bảo quản những hiện vật lịch sử và văn hóa truyền thống của vùng cao nguyên Lâm Đồng. Với hơn 15.000 hiện vật, nhiều bộ sưu tập quý hiếm và độc đáo được giữ gìn tại đây.
Bảo tàng Lâm Đồng là điểm đến thú vị và ấn tượng cho du khách, đặc biệt là sinh viên và học sinh đến nghiên cứu khoa học. Nơi đây trưng bày gần 10.000 tiêu bản đa dạng và phong phú, từ đồng, sắt đến gốm sứ, mang giá trị vùng Đông Nam Á.

The Lam Dong Provincial Museum was originally the residence of the former mayor named Nguyen Huu Hao (the stepfather of Queen Nam Phuong), located on a winding and majestic hill. The winding road leading to it is called the 'love path.'

The museum, ranked 15 out of 36 'things to do' by the famous Lonely Planet travel guide, is even more known to international tourists than domestic ones. To make your visit to the museum more convenient, you can find a hotel in Da Lat near or on Hung Vuong Street to save a lot of travel time.

The museum was temporarily closed from October 1990 to December 1996, and the main exhibition building was officially put into operation at the end of 2010.

In addition to the above sections, the museum also introduces two stilt houses of the Cơ Ho and Mạ ethnic groups, built according to the original and decorated inside in the traditional living space. Tourists visiting here will experience the feeling of living in a Cơ Ho or Mạ ethnic house, listening to the charming guide of the Cơ Ho ethnic group introducing the lifestyle and customs in the traditional house of their ethnic group.
