Chùa Hải Đức

Chùa Hải Đức nằm trên đường Hải Đức, phường Phương Sơn, phía Tây thành phố Nha Trang, tỉnh Khánh Hòa. Con đường dẫn đến ngôi chùa này rất đẹp, hướng dẫn du khách qua một con dốc dài, dẫn tới con đường bằng phẳng với nhiều cây xanh, tạo nên bức tranh thiên nhiên hùng vĩ.

Hơn nữa, có một lối đi khác, dành cho những người muốn tiếp cận nhanh chóng, trải qua con dốc cao với những bậc thang nhỏ bằng đá hẹp. Con đường này thậm chí còn có ghế đá giữa dốc để du khách có thể ngồi nghỉ, lấy sức trước khi tiếp tục hành trình lên chùa.

Đây chính là Phật Học Viện lớn nhất ở miền Trung với nhiều cảnh đẹp tuyệt vời. Vì thế, đây đã trở thành ngôi chùa nổi tiếng nhất tại thành phố Nha Trang.

Khi đến đây, du khách thường mang theo những nguyện vọng tốt lành và tận hưởng vẻ đẹp của chùa. Đặc biệt, bạn sẽ được nghe câu chuyện thú vị về sự kỳ lạ của một cha và con đánh lạc hướng vào năm 1956.

Câu chuyện này kể về một kỹ sư người Mỹ tên Blank M, quyết định đến Việt Nam để tìm người cha tiền kiếp của mình, chính là trụ trì của chùa Hải Đức - Sư Thích Phước Huệ. Hai cha con này có khuôn mặt giống nhau đến mức gây ngạc nhiên, mặc dù họ sinh sống ở hai quốc gia khác nhau, có tôn giáo, phong tục và ngôn ngữ khác nhau.

Chùa Linh Phong

Located atop Trại Thủy Mountain, Chùa Linh Phong is embraced by breathtaking natural landscapes, radiating a sense of serenity and solemnity.

Throughout the year, Chùa Linh Phong attracts numerous pilgrims and travelers, contributing significantly to the revitalization of Buddhism and the development of Nha Trang tourism in Khánh Hòa province.

Also known as Bửu Phong Pagoda, this site has a newly renovated main hall with a width of 24m and depth of 17m. The tiled roof is uniquely designed, especially the front section, crafted and cast by the head monk himself. The pagoda's roof is adorned with mythical dragons and lotus patterns, creating a lively and dynamic appearance. The large columns at the entrance are intricately carved with intertwining dragons and clouds.

The architectural structure of this pagoda is truly exceptional. All interior columns and rafters are connected not by nails but by wooden joints. Most columns and doors are meticulously carved, showcasing intricate patterns, designs, and unique mythical creatures. This distinctive architectural gem is a magnet for tourists seeking to explore Nha Trang's attractions.

Chùa Từ Tôn

In the journey to visit various pagodas, travelers should not miss Chùa Từ Tôn, situated on Hòn Đỏ Island, covering an area of about 20,000m2, in Vĩnh Thọ ward, Nha Trang city, Khánh Hòa province. Hòn Đỏ Island is approximately 300m from the shore and was founded and constructed by Venerable Thích Viên Mãn in the 1960s.

Because Chùa Từ Tôn is located on a naturally beautiful red rock formation, locals consider it a unique tourist destination in Nha Trang. During high tide, visitors must use motorboats to reach the pagoda. If visiting during low tide, travelers can easily wade through. Afterward, follow the path to the west to reach the southern entrance of the pagoda.

To construct this pagoda, Venerable Thích Viên Mãn devoted 40 years to clearing land, building a meditation hermitage, and constructing the pagoda. Together with fellow monks and devoted Buddhists, they purchased land and fresh water, transported it to the island, established gardens, planted ornamental trees, and cared for the environment. Today, Chùa Từ Tôn stands as a scenic attraction in the coastal city of Nha Trang.
