How to reach Tả Van Sapa?
Bản Tả Van is located in Tả Van commune, Sapa district, Lào Cai province, approximately 8km to 12km from the center of Sapa depending on the chosen route. With such a distance, you need to travel by motorbike or small car. However, for a full experience of the landscapes, traveling by motorbike is more suitable.

On the way to Tả Van village, you will pass through Lao Chải - a place with stunning mountainous landscapes and the famous Sapa ancient rock field. After leaving the bustling streets of Sapa such as Cầu Mây Street and Mường Hoa Street, just follow the Mường Hoa stream to reach Tả Van.

Almost all Sapa tourist attractions require an entrance fee, including Tả Van. The entrance fee to Tả Van Sapa in 2018 was 75,000 VND/adult.
However, the ticket gate is not very strict; on days with bad weather or around noon, there is often no one checking tickets, so you can visit for free. Some people taking a taxi to the village also don't get checked for tickets!
