1. Phương Tiện Di Chuyển
Từ Hà Nội đến Cảng Cái Rồng, chúng mình đã chọn dịch vụ xe khách giường nằm Xuân Trường (160k/lượt/người), một giấc ngủ là đến nơi ngay.
Khi tới cảng, mua vé tàu cao tốc để chuyển ra đảo (250k/lượt/người). Vé tàu bắt đầu bán từ 6h, và chuyến đầu tiên khởi hành lúc 6h30. Nếu bạn dễ say sóng, nên chọn ngồi hàng ghế giữa.
Ở Cô Tô, chúng mình chuyển động chủ yếu bằng xe máy (150k/ngày, chưa tính xăng nhé).
– Trong trường hợp đi đông người, việc sử dụng xe điện sẽ tiết kiệm hơn nha.
❗️Nơi đổ xăng ở khu 3 thị trấn.
2. Accommodation
+ When in Cô Tô, you can stay in hotels, homestays, or guesthouses.
We opted for a guesthouse (priced at 300/night) located in the town for convenience as we spent most of our time exploring outside. ????
3. Food Choices
+ Don't forget to indulge in delicious seafood dishes in Cô Tô such as seafood hotpot and crab. ???? Some notable restaurants include Uý Thanh, Bếp Bình An (outdoor dining by the beach),... We tried seafood at Bếp Bình An, a satisfying meal at 300k/person. ❤️❤️
+ For breakfast, we ate at Cô Tô plus, Cồ Nghĩa,... they offer delicious options at reasonable prices.
Additionally, there are bubble tea and snack places like Kai Tea, Thế Giới Chè,...
4. Our Itinerary
Day 1
We took the Xuân Trường sleeper bus from Hanoi the night before. Picked up at 1 a.m. at Sở Thanh Xuân intersection (Hanoi).
+ 5:30 a.m., we arrived at Cái Rồng port, rested, and bought high-speed boat tickets. ????
+ At 6:30 a.m., we boarded the boat to the island (contact your hotel or homestay for a pickup on arrival at Cô Tô).
+ By 8 a.m., we reached Cô Tô, checked into our guesthouse (early check-in was free, otherwise, you can leave your luggage and explore).
+ Rested, had lunch, and by 2 p.m., we rented a motorbike ????to explore: around the town, Hải Đăng Peak, and Vàn Chảy Beach (where I got a bit itchy due to jellyfish).
+ In the evening, we had seafood hotpot and explored around the town.
Day 2
+ The weather was beautiful on the second day. We started our day with breakfast at 8 a.m.
* Đá Cầu Mỵ Beach (Dragon Claw Stone Beach)
* Sóng Wave Hill (right next to Đá Cầu Mỵ Beach)
* Âu Cảng (3km from the stone beach)
+ At noon, we had lunch in the town and rested at the guesthouse.
+ By 2 p.m., we visited
* Bác Hồ Statue (in the town)
* Love Road, Love Beach (for photos)
* Hồng Vàn Beach (I preferred swimming here as the water was clear, the sand was white, and no itching like Vàn Chảy Beach). ????
+ In the evening, we dined and explored around the town.
Day 3
+ We had breakfast in the town and headed to Bắc Vàn Port to visit Cô Tô Con Island.
The boat cost to Cô Tô Con is 700k/boat/12 people (for both ways). You can share the boat and split the cost if there are fewer people.
+ Around noon, we returned to the guesthouse, had lunch, bought souvenirs, checked out, bought high-speed boat tickets, returned the motorbike.
+ In the early afternoon, we went to the port and took a sleeper bus back home.
❗️Make sure to inquire about the high-speed boat schedule from the island to the port in advance to avoid staying overnight on the island if you miss the last boat.
5. Most Important: How Much Money?
* Sleeper bus ticket: 320k/person
* High-speed boat ticket: 500k/person
* Guesthouse cost: 300k/person
* Motorbike rental: 150k/2 days/person
* Gas cost: 50k
* Food cost: 600k/person
* Miscellaneous: 120k/person
* Cô Tô Con boat: 60k/person
